Mr. Soca Ambassadors
Patrick "Ptahus" Sneed

At the age of 23, Patrick Sneed, better known as “Pathus” capped off a journey into the soca industry when he moved St. Thomas USVI 1998. A small-time DJ known locally in Tampa as DJ VIPE and founder of Mad People Muzuk Group and Soca Spirit Radio is an upcoming entrepreneur who thrives on promoting the Spirit and History of Soca music. Patrick holds a BA degree in Public Administration from Barry University in Miami, Florida, an MBA in Business Management from Saint Leo University, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Saint Leo’s Graduate School of Business.

A profession in Non-Profit management, and 13 years in human development experience, Patrick saw a different approach to giving soca lovers avenues and better opportunities in the new era of soca music. Growing up under the tunes of a diverse music culture, Patrick embraces all sounds from its beginning of the African existence. Rectifying the effects of the current conditions in the soca industry, Patrick saw a need to expand the already established promotional frontier to a more direct pilot approach to broaden the relationship building of consumers who enjoy and engage the sounds of soca music. After evaluating and observing these results, Patrick decided to create a small business group called, “Soca Ambassadors Promos”, to give soca consumers a more direct public relations and awareness in a growing spiritual movement we call “FEEL GO MUSIC.”

Patrick serves as the CEO, and Executive Managing Officer of Soca Ambassadors Promos, Inc. where he works to structure and build the overall business capacity of the company. In addition to strategic development efforts, he also directs media relations, branding, advertising and website development.

Ms XS Bacchanal

Rachel Montoute

Rachel hails from the island of St Lucia where she was involved in Carnival and cultural festivities from a very young age. A steel pan enthusiast and an avid supporter of the Caribbean Cultural Arts, Rachel first leaped into the American Caribbean Carnival scene in 2015, when she successfully fulfilled the position of Marketing Officer for D’ Collective Mas Band in Chicago, IL, which won the carnival that year. Following this experience, Rachel decided it was time to bring a more modern mas band to the traditional mas of the Windy City Carnival scene. In 2016, she debuted her carnival band XS Bacchanal for the Windy City Chicago Carnival and again in the Downtown Atlanta Caribbean Carnival in 2019.

However, Rachel saw the need for promotion of the Caribbean culture through other avenues, as well as the need for strategic management and logistical production of Carnival and Soca events. She wanted XS Bacchanal to represent more than just a Mas Band. Hence on meeting Soca Ambassadors, realizing the similarities in goals and direction, XS Bacchanal was absorbed into the operations of Soca Ambassadors Promos.

Rachel serves as the Director of Operations and Content Management for Soca Ambassadors Promos, Inc. Rachel is responsible for full operations of social platforms and initiatives, and project | partnership management.
